ZOOM Classes

I absolutely LOVE the tunes from the 60’s and 70’s! It was the time for coming of age and for testing new levels of independence and freedom. We were young, full of energy and had the confidence to take on the world. 2020 has been a crappy year for a lot of reasons and just spending a couple of hours a week escaping back in time with memorable music has helped me to cope, to stay active and to reduce stress. Shall we do this together for the remainder of 2020?  We don’t know what 2021 will bring, but one thing is for certain: most things can be rebuilt, but aging bodies and poor health take a lot longer to repair. Think of it this way, you won’t be getting up earlier in the cooler mornings to drive to class or coming home in the dark after an evening class. You will merely wander into your living room and Zoom. You can do the entire workouts or just the stretching and cool down. No matter what, close the door, mute the phone and spend one hour on YOU. Do you want to:

  • Reduce body fat?
  • Gain lean muscle?
  • Increase the range of motion in the hips, shoulders, elbows, knees?
  • Lose inches in the abdomen and waist?
  • Reduce stress, anxiety, angst?
  • Improve your overall health and well being?


Fusion Fitness classes are designed BY a Baby Boomer FOR Baby Boomers. They are heart-healthy and joint friendly moves to OUR music!  Each class delivers a warm-up, muscle strength and endurance training, flexibility and balance, intervals for strong hearts, and a stretching/cool down segment.  Each week, you will have a new workout with a new playlist of your favorite hits from the past. Work out with me on Tuesday mornings AND Thursday evenings for greater rewards. Our workout "tools" will vary from week to week, but ALL will be regular household items (be creative!):

Light Weights = 2-5 pound DBs, water bottles, cans of soup, a pair of shoes...

Gliders = Exercise sliders, furniture moving disks, plastic plates on carpet, hand towels on hard surfaces.

Abs and Backs classes are a popular middle-of-the-week pick-me-up. Based on the principles of Pilates, you will perform moves that strengthen the deep inner muscles supporting the spinal and abdominal areas to leave you rejuvenated and pain free. Adding non-stressing Yoga poses, your muscles and joints will be gently challenged and stretched to leave you refreshed and relaxed.  All you need is a Stability Ball, a thick exercise mat and a strap for stretching.
